OHO proud to be a sponsor of World Usability Day, November 13, 2008.

November 13th 2008 is World Usability Day (www.worldusabilityday.org), and OHO is proud to be a sponsor. An initiative of the Usability Professionals Association (UPA), the annual, one day international event is aimed at ensuring “that the services and products important to life are easier to access and simpler to use.” At OHO, we see World Usability Day as a great opportunity for us to recommit ourselves to making web technology easier to use for our clients and their communities.

The theme for 2008 is transportation, and it generated a powerful response. In the course of one day, there are 165 events in a record 43 countries. OHO is also pleased to sponsor the Global Transport Challenge to reduce carbon emmissions which is a new initiative that will continue until World Usability Day 2009.

OHO redesigned and redeveloped the World Usability Day website (www.worldusabilityday.org). The site integrates many Web 2.0 features to provide the global audience a powerful collaboration and event management platform. Based on the Drupal community platform, World Usability Day was developed by the World Usability Day steering team and OHO. OHO also services and hosts the World Usability Day system.
